FUSE APP ENGINE
The Fuse App Engine is what enables us to deliver apps as a service and provide you with hassle-free app ownership, at scale.
It covers a wide range of tasks, from software development and project management to support, distribution and other practical & legal aspects of mobile apps. Our philosophy across all of these is the same: to simplify, optimize and automate the underlying processes in order to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
01 Components
A key priority for us is to ensure that each app requires as little new code as possible. Optimal code reuse means that the majority of your app consists of code that has already been tested and proven in numerous other projects, drastically reducing the risk of bugs as well as shortening the overall development time.
02 Platform drivers
While high-level components are used to define “what the app should do” the platform driver is the part that deals with the low-level specifics of how different app features and components are implemented on Android, iOS and the web. This split between app semantics and platform integration is key to how we maximize code reuse and streamline the implementation of new apps.

04 Monitoring
Apps, just like any other piece of software, can experience errors. And when running on a wide range of devices it can be difficult to identify the cause of a problem and fix it. As part of our service, we perform automatic monitoring and logging of any issues occurring in your apps. This enables us to fix problems quickly and efficiently, often without the need for bug reports from the users.
05 Your backend
The basis for the app is your backend, which contains the data and business logic everything is built on. Fuse takes responsibility for the app, from development to publishing and maintenance, while you, or one of your partners, provide the backend that the app communicates with.
